Like most odometers in classic E28 BMWs, your odometer probably long stopped counting miles driven and trip odometers do not work. We have a solution to fix this problem without breaking the bank, with some basic tools, some time, and our gears; it is an easy fix!

The three E28 gears that need replacement are included as well as the spacer to keep the gears from moving into each other. The factory gears become soft over time (imagine how a stale Oreo cookie would feel when broke in half; that is what the gears in your current broken gauge feels like). These gears are quality made with better then OEM material with a quality fit and finish. These gears will outlive your car!

We absolutely do not accept used or damaged items for return. It is your responsibility to make sure that returned items arrive to us in good condition please pack your items accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any items not authorized before hand. It is the customers responsibility to arrange return shipping for any items that are rejected through the return process. Core Return Terms: Cores must be returned in 30 days for a refund. All cores returned after 30 days are only eligible for store credit no exceptions. All cores must be in OEM un-modified condition, we do not accept previously modified components for core. Serious rust issues, major cracks, or bent subframes are also not accepted as a core. Some minor cracking may be acceptable please contact us with photos first. Core refunds will be issued within 10 days of receiving your core. We use returned cores to re-work and provide this service to other customers. Please keep that in mind when looking at your core. If you would not want your core as a reworked unit it is probably not acceptable. Again any questions please ask first.
