WHAT ARE POLY TRANS MOUNTS?
These polyurethane transmission mounts are meant for that OEM + feel. That means you want a subtle upgrade for your street car without too much of a compromise in comfort, these bushings are a happy medium. These poly mounts are designed for the street enthusiast but are also good for a track monster BMW. The price is for a pair (2 units). This poly transmission mount kit comes with everything you need to do one car. As with every product we manufacture, we stand by our products; they come with a Garagistic lifetime warranty.
WHY REPLACE YOUR TRANSMISSION MOUNTS?
These poly transmission mounts will have less movement under braking and cornering and, moreover, will not transfer much noise into the cabin which will make the ride a bit easier. These are a bolt-through design (10.9-grade hardware); Hardware has a nylon insert, to ensure it does not back out on its own. These mounts are great for spiritedly-driven BMW streetcars. Moreover, these mounts are great for Auto-x use as well! Do it right, do it once, do it Garagistic.

Installation Instructions
TORQUE SPEC: 9-12 ft/lbs + Blue Locktite
NOTE: Poly bushings should be torqued until they start to see deformation then back the nut .5 to 1 rotation off. Polyurethane trans bushings that are too tight will transfer vibrations and increase overall harshness.
Step 1: Safely jack up the vehicle from the front or rear and lower it securely on jack stands. Gently rock the vehicle to make sure it has seated properly on the jack stands
Step 2: Support the transmission with the jack and remove the bottom nuts of the transmission mounts and the 4 trans bracket bolts. Lastly, remove the two nuts of the trans mounts
Step 3: Install the trans bracket with loose bolts so it can slide back and forward
Step 4: Slightly raise the transmission so that the mount can slide in place with the bolt and washer going on top of the ear of the transmission. Install the washer and nut on the bottom
Step 5: Slide the trans bracket and mount as far forward as possible and tighten the bracket bolts
Step 6: Lower the trans on the mount and tighten trans mount bolts. Torque to 9-12 ft lbs
Do not over tighten
