Because we are very small company with a limited amount of humans, the only way to return or exchange an item is through this system. Its VERY easy to use and will walk you through everything. You may call us if you need help with the system, however, we suggest you try before calling. When you call or email, we are dedicated to giving you as much help as you need. We don't mind the calls, we don't mind the e-mails, but please, please, please be aware that every phone call or email takes valuable time away from actually building and shipping the orders. Any extra love and patience you give us is an investment we'll put right into getting your parts and service needs.

Why is there a restocking fee?
Well the first reason is that it was in the terms and conditions on checkout. However there is a better reason. Honest companies charge restocking fees for a very simple reason: to keep costs (and thus prices for you) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order. If you buy something and then return it, there is more costs to handle the return.
In many cases, we are stuck with a product that cannot be sold as new anymore. Would you want to buy a product that is supposed to be new and instead receive a box that has been opened and a product used by another customer? Certainly not! If you buy something online, you expect it to be brand new, first quality, and factory sealed by the manufacturer.
If a customer orders a part and then decides to return it because they realize it wasn’t the one they wanted, changed their minds, or they don’t like its color, or for any of a thousand other reasons? The part arrives back here with fingerprints on it, with packaging that has been ripped open and haphazardly put back in the box. Garagistic now has to return it to saleable condition.
All returns must be thoroughly inspected when received back at the warehouse to ensure they are in 100% resalable condition. New packaging materials usually need to be utilized because it is typically only designed to be used two times (initial use and possible return shipment). Time and materials involved inspecting, repackaging and restocking are not insignificant. The bottom line is restocking fees help keep prices low for you!
