Garagistic and Partners Will Put An Offer On Willow Springs Raceway
Ever since the announcement of the availability of "The Fastest Road in the West," we have been gathering data and discussing the possibility of purchasing this legendary track with our peers in the racing world. We have had the pleasure of racing on this track for many years and believe that future generations should also have the opportunity to drive on it, following in the footsteps of racing legends like Ken Miles, Carroll Shelby, John Morton, Dan Gurney, and many others.
We have thoroughly studied the financials, learned more of the incredible history of the track, and thoroughly inspected buildings on the property. We have been in constant contact with the agents as we prepare our business plan fueled by our relentless passion for creating motorsports history.
Just as Bill Huth originally founded this track, it must remain a passion project first. With passion, capital, and a plan, it can be restored and open for ALL to enjoy.
Our plan is designed to achieve this in a sustainable and scalable model. We have not only visited the world's best tracks but also had the honor of competing in multiple racing disciplines on those tracks as well. We have tested our products on those tracks, conducted several miles of "track walks," and examined their surfaces, curbs, compression zones, braking points, and most importantly, their safety. We have documented these journeys because of our passion, and in the process, we have gained valuable knowledge.
Now the responsibility lies with us, the racers, motorsports enthusiasts, and those who want to preserve and respect this piece of automotive and motorcycle history for future generations to carefully preserve and learn from those who paved the way.
It is the obligation of ALL who love racing to take action so that this track does not become privatized or worse, see the same fate as Riverside International Raceway: one of California's forgotten tracks.
