Having a front E36 strut bar improves cornering by reducing chassis flex on corners and allows for noticeable improvements in your E36s cornering (front end grip). Strut bars are nothing new and the racing community knows they work (when designed without hinges). But because this is a Garagistic E36 front and rear strut bar combo you can save money when buying them as a package.
The Garagistic Heavy Duty E36 strut bar has a aesthetically pleasing tubular design with no hinges or bolts. As straight of a bar as possible for maximum rigidity. If you absolutely positively do not want your front strut towers to flex ,this is the strut bar for you! This steel strut bar features fully TIG welded construction and no movable joints! This means that your strut towers will hold their place and any flex will be significantly reduced! Double beam construction, gusset reinforced construction and precision cut mounting plates ensure the best in strength and fit. The large landing plates also protects shock towers from "mushrooming" as they tend to do in factory form The Garagistic E36 Heavy Duty front strut bar clears factory hood configurations and all M5X/S5X powered E36 chassis.
Although not as drastic as adding a E36 front strut bar, this combo also includes an E36 rear strut bar will also help retain some rigidity to your E36. There is a notable improvement especially under track conditions. E36 rear strut bars are made of steel, designed to fit on E36s with no prior collision damage. These strut braces also spread the load so shock mounting point failure (shocks rip through trunk) is avoidable with our rear bar. The E36 rear strut bars are available in bare steel, black powder coat, or red powder coat (custom colors are available on request at additional cost). We do not accept returns on installed parts. Please note, every car has had a different life and the strut tower distance is never the same on two cars. Installing the bar may be easier when its safely lifted. We are not liable to damages.
