BMW E30 "MTech 2" Side Skirts

Overview

The MTech 2 side skirts and door pods transform the look of your E30 and give it a fresh update in styling. One of the most popular body kits for late model E30s, no MTech 2 kit is complete without the door pods which give the car a smooth "trim-less" look that they are known for. These are a perfect aftermarket version which are made from super durable ABS plastic material, meaning that they can take the abuse of any track day, auto-x event, or even someone accidentally hitting them when walking around your car. These are obviously not OEM, and for that reason are not as expensive. As with all aftermarket body panels, professional installation, and paint is recommended.

Fitment

• Fits: Designed for late-model E30 coupe, and sedans.
  • Options: Available in 2-door Coupe and 4-door Sedan versions
• Doesn't Fit: Early model E30s or convertibles *without modifications.
  • Note: Early-model coupe & Sedan E30s can use this side skirt kit but will require modifications to the door pods.
    • Door pods: Require modifications/shaping on early model E30s with high rear wheel arches
      
  • Note: Convertibles - Side skirts and door pods will require modification to fit E30 convertibles.
    • Side Skirts: Side skirts will require the sills to be shortened at the lower edge, due to verts having deeper rocker panels.
