All clearance items are final sale and the buyer is responsible for confirming fitment of any application outside of stock configuration. We do not accept returned customized or made-to-order items such as chassis mount shifters, supreme OEM shifters, driveshafts, wiring harnesses, engine mounting kits, roll bars etc (please contact us if you are unsure if you part falls under this category). All products we carry from other vendors such as NRG Innovations and LINK ECU are ineligible for return. We do not refund shipping costs. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any orders after 30 days. On returns authorized past 30 days from the delivery date, we reserve the right to give store credit instead of a refund (please reach out to confirm). We absolutely do not accept used or damaged items for return. It is your responsibility to make sure that returned items arrive to us in good condition please pack your items accordingly. Because we are very small company with a limited amount of humans, the only way to return or exchange an item is through this system. Its VERY easy to use and will walk you through everything. Well the first reason is that it was in the terms and conditions on checkout. However there is a better reason. Honest companies charge restocking fees for a very simple reason: to keep costs (and thus prices for you) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order. If you buy something and then return it, there is more costs to handle the return.
All returns must be thoroughly inspected when received back at the warehouse to ensure they are in 100% resalable condition. New packaging materials usually need to be utilized because it is typically only designed to be used two times (initial use and possible return shipment). Time and materials involved inspecting, repackaging and restocking are not insignificant. The bottom line is restocking fees help keep prices low for you!
For this reason we do not accept returns on any used or previously installed products. We will not sell used products to our customers who are expecting brand new Garagistic parts. At times we may have to charge a higher restocking fee on a return if the parts are damaged during the return shipping. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe arrival of the parts you are returning to us. Thanks!
The Garagistic Billet Offset Shift Selector Joint is a direct upgrade and replacement for BMW Shift Selector Joint - 25117533057 found in BMW chassis such as E82, E90, E92, F10, F06, and Z4 E89. This selector joint is slightly offset upwards as compared to the straight selector joint styles we offer in order to gain extra clearance. This is especially useful for cars equipped with a harmonic balancer but may also help clear the guibo depending on shifter setups, and can be used in other chassis like E30, E36, E46 if the additional clearance is needed.
These shift selector joints (25117533057) will install on both Getrag and ZF transmissions giving proper fit for a DSSR (double shear selector rod). As always with aging BMW parts, it is also advised to change the shift selector joint whenever you are doing a shifter component service.
The aging BMW transmissions are generally showing their age and this selector joint ( 25117533057) has a foam bushing that can wear out and cause slop. This selector joint is just one link in the system that can help tighten up your shifter feel and overall driving experience. It will be mandatory to change the selector joint on some applications for use with a DSSR.

Our Billet selector joint features precision thrust bearings to replace the plastic bushing which is found in the factory selector joints. The OEM factory plastic bushings degrade overtime causing slop in the shifter feel. Our thrust bearings contribute to an ultra smooth operation and direct feedback during gear shifts.
Our newest improvements to our billet selector joints include a shoulder screw setup which makes installation a breeze compared to the factory pin and circlip design. No more fumbling with the circlip under the car. Our innovative design change to the shoulder bolt cut down our install time of the selector joint from 30 minutes to just 2 minutes (not including time to remove the original joint from the car).
