Garagistic is committed to 100% customer satisfaction! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your purchase within 30 days of the delivery date STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ANY USED OR INSTALLED PARTS. Some items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, as well as any order returned after 30 days. We do not accept returns on clearance items. All clearance items are final sale and the buyer is responsible for confirming fitment of any application outside of stock configuration. We do not accept returned customized or made-to-order items such as chassis mount shifters, supreme OEM shifters, driveshafts, wiring harnesses, engine mounting kits, roll bars etc (please contact us if you are unsure if you part falls under this category). All products we carry from other vendors such as NRG Innovations and LINK ECU are ineligible for return. We do not refund shipping costs. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any orders after 30 days. On returns authorized past 30 days from the delivery date, we reserve the right to give store credit instead of a refund (please reach out to confirm). We absolutely do not accept used or damaged items for return. It is your responsibility to make sure that returned items arrive to us in good condition please pack your items accordingly. Because we are very small company with a limited amount of humans, the only way to return or exchange an item is through this system. Its VERY easy to use and will walk you through everything. You may call us if you need help with the system, however, we suggest you try before calling. When you call or email, we are dedicated to giving you as much help as you need. We don't mind the calls, we don't mind the e-mails, but please, please, please be aware that every phone call or email takes valuable time away from actually building and shipping the orders. There are only 8 guys working here and the fewer detailed updates we give, the faster we can ship orders, release more epic parts, and help with technical issues. Well the first reason is that it was in the terms and conditions on checkout. However there is a better reason. Honest companies charge restocking fees for a very simple reason: to keep costs (and thus prices for you) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order. If you buy something and then return it, there is more costs to handle the return.
All returns must be thoroughly inspected when received back at the warehouse to ensure they are in 100% resalable condition. New packaging materials usually need to be utilized because it is typically only designed to be used two times (initial use and possible return shipment). Time and materials involved inspecting, repackaging and restocking are not insignificant. The bottom line is restocking fees help keep prices low for you!
For this reason we do not accept returns on any used or previously installed products. We will not sell used products to our customers who are expecting brand new Garagistic parts. At times we may have to charge a higher restocking fee on a return if the parts are damaged during the return shipping. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe arrival of the parts you are returning to us. Thanks!
One of the most noticeable, easy changes you can make to get rid of your BMW's shifter slop is replacing your aging OEM selector joint! Our Garagistic selector joints are produced in-house from billet aluminum. We have taken the 30+-year-old BMW selector joint design and brought it up to date by swapping out the plastic stationary bushing for a precision-sealed bearing assembly. By utilizing our new DSSR hardware that replaces the traditional pins and clips, this new design will allow you to snug the DSSR down on the selector joint without any binding and further eliminates any remaining slop in the shifter assembly.

DO I NEED A SELECTOR JOINT, AND WHY?
The "standard" shift selector joint (BMW PN# 25117503525) will install on E30 Getrag transmissions running our short shifters. This is especially important on the E30 transmission that came from a car prior to 06/86 manufacture date. The earlier model shift selector joint has an offset cylinder and selector rod that is wider than the later model version. This earlier model does not fit a DSSR as the longer cylinder will not fit between the U cradle of the DSSR. As always with aging BMW parts, it is also advised to change the shift selector joint whenever you are performing maintenance on the shifter assembly.
The aging BMW transmissions are generally showing their age, and this selector joint ( BMW PN# 25117503525) has a plastic bushing that can wear out and cause slop. This selector joint is just one link in the system that can help tighten up your shifter feel and overall driving experience. Recommend changing these in the older BMW for maintenance. Mandatory to change the selector joint for use with a DSSR.
