Full Terms and Conditions that were agreed to on checkout:
Well the first reason is that it was in the terms and conditions on checkout. However there is a better reason. Honest companies charge restocking fees for a very simple reason: to keep costs (and thus prices for you) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order. If you buy something and then return it, there is more costs to handle the return.
All returns must be thoroughly inspected when received back at the warehouse to ensure they are in 100% resalable condition. New packaging materials usually need to be utilized because it is typically only designed to be used two times (initial use and possible return shipment). Time and materials involved inspecting, repackaging and restocking are not insignificant. The bottom line is restocking fees help keep prices low for you!
For this reason we do not accept returns on any used or previously installed products. We will not sell used products to our customers who are expecting brand new Garagistic parts. At times we may have to charge a higher restocking fee on a return if the parts are damaged during the return shipping. It is your responsibility to ensure the safe arrival of the parts you are returning to us. Thanks!

E46 325I AND 323 DSSR SELECTOR ROD - 25111434613
Introducing the Garagistic E46 232mm DSSR for your 325 or 323. This DSSR is meant for BMW E46 models that have the selector rod part number 2511434613.
Dont forget to do the selector joint while you replace your dssr!
E30, E28, E24 with part number 25117503525 can be found here.
E36, E34, E39, E46, E60 etc with part number 25117580281 can be found here.
So what's a DSSR?
Well, it stands for dual shear selector rod. A DSSR will spread the torsional force on both sides of the selector rod instead of the OEM piece which connects from one side only.
Based on the concept of the E30 M3 DTM cars of legend! Going to a DSSR in your E46 will mean less play in the shifter, (decreases side to side motion). This means a more precise and smooth shift every time. Now to the details. Our DSSR is made of stainless steel and then tig welded right here in our shop in Westminster CA, USA. Please note: Confirmed compatibility with OEM style shifter only (some shifters will need to be slightly filed down to fit). May also work with some aftermarket shifters.
It's a really good idea to change your transmission fluid while you are down there. We recommend this fluid: https://amzn.to/41KYOnn . One of these is also helpful when your doing it: https://amzn.to/3N3piN2
EVERY E46 DSSR KIT INCLUDES
Replacement for 25111434613
Necessary hardware
Stainless steel finish
Fully tig welded
Instructions:
garagistic DSSR
Installation Instructions
Step 1: With a flat head screwdriver remove the locking clip by pushing on the inside lip of the clip to slide it off the selector rod on the shifter side on selector joint side.
Step 2: Wiggle and pull the selector rod until it's free on both ends. Pay attention to the bends of the selector rod and how it came off as it will be your guide on how to install the DSSR in the proper direction.
Step 3: Grab your garagistic DSSR and starting with the selector joint side first line up the holes on the DSSR with the selector joint. It should be a tight fit but if its too tight open the tabs a bit till you achieve proper fitment. Once aligned slide the provided pins in with a washer on each side followed by the c-clip to lock it in. Repeat on the shifter side.
Notice: If you upgraded to a Z3 shifter you will have to shave down the sides of the shifter for the DSSR to fit
