Mercedes SLS (Self Leveling Suspension) delete plug
If you are lowering classic Mercedes, or simply just replacing your OEM suspension with a conventional shock/strut/spring combo you will need to start by first deleting the Self Leveling Suspension system. These aging SLS sytems are generally leaky, costly to repair, and will leave your Mercedes looking like it has got way to much junk in the trunk with the excessive sag in the rear. It's all powered by an cam driven hydraulic pump with complex system of pressurized lines and accumulators plumbed in to the suspension on all 4 corners of the vehicle. The pump must be removed and deleted or you may run the risk of the dry pump seizing and causing damage to the motor. This simple plug replaces the cam driven SLS pump and leaves you with a clean finish!
Fits: For most models with self leveling suspension from 1977 to 1991
