Overview

The Garagistic bolt-in roll bar for the E30 chassis is built with the dual-purpose driving enthusiast in mind! This roll bar is made of high-strength DOM tubing with 1/8" thick mounting plates for the best in strength and durability. It features a nice snug fit while still retaining the use of factory seat belts. Keeping in mind that the majority of E30s in the USA have sunroofs, the fitment of the main hoop bar is designed for a car with a sunroof. Slicktop E30s or those who have had their sunroof deleted may prefer to get our DIY kit instead.

Unlike some competitors, our roll bar's feet of the main hoop mount to the outer thicker area of the floorboard instead of the thin footwell. This helps to ensure a strong mounting point and prevents tear through if the worst should happen. Also included with the E30 roll bar are outer reinforcement plates that help to further reinforce the mounting points by squeezing from both inside and out. Tall Drivers! Please Read:

For all you tall folks, if the back of your seat is past the B pillar in your natural driving position, you will need the bent harness bar! If you think your seating position is close to your back being behind the B pillar, we recommend getting your roll bar with the bent harness bar!

• Bent Harness Bar
  • This bar is for taller drivers. If the back of your seat is behind the B pillar (in a sedan) you will need to use this bar. We recommend checking your seating position before fully welding the harness bar.

Rear Roll Bar Leg Options

• Rear X Bracing
  • Consisting of three bars to add the iconic X to the rear, these are optional to add extra rigidity to the chassis, and are only available with straight rear legs. Those who prefer to save a little weight can choose to not add the X. Removal of the backseat is necessary.
• Straight Rear Legs (Not compatible with rear X bracing)
  
  • The lightest option, this is the classic roll bar look with two straight rear legs. Removal of the backseat is necessary.
• Bent Rear Legs x2 pcs
  
  • These legs curve at the bottom to allow for a modified rear seat cushion to be installed (some foam will need to be removed to clear the tube)
  • Please Note: Passengers are NOT recommended to sit in the backseat with a roll bar

  • M10 bolts, nuts, and nylon locking nuts - (QTY 12)
  • Recommended to install with locking nuts on top to prevent damage to the bolt threads in the event that your car comes into contact with road debris

Shipping

Please keep in mind these roll bars are so large that they must be shipped via freight shipping on a pallet. While we do our best to protect our roll bars during shipping, some small scratches or scuffs may be present due to the nature of freight shipping. We do not warranty any kinds of scratches or small damages to the finish.
