All clearance items are final sale and the buyer is responsible for confirming fitment of any application outside of stock configuration. We do not accept returned customized or made-to-order items such as chassis mount shifters, supreme OEM shifters, driveshafts, wiring harnesses, engine mounting kits, roll bars etc (please contact us if you are unsure if you part falls under this category). All products we carry from other vendors such as NRG Innovations and LINK ECU are ineligible for return. We do not refund shipping costs. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any orders after 30 days. On returns authorized past 30 days from the delivery date, we reserve the right to give store credit instead of a refund (please reach out to confirm). We absolutely do not accept used or damaged items for return. It is your responsibility to make sure that returned items arrive to us in good condition please pack your items accordingly. Because we are very small company with a limited amount of humans, the only way to return or exchange an item is through this system. Its VERY easy to use and will walk you through everything. You may call us if you need help with the system, however, we suggest you try before calling. When you call or email, we are dedicated to giving you as much help as you need. We don't mind the calls, we don't mind the e-mails, but please, please, please be aware that every phone call or email takes valuable time away from actually building and shipping the orders. Well the first reason is that it was in the terms and conditions on checkout. However there is a better reason. Honest companies charge restocking fees for a very simple reason: to keep costs (and thus prices for you) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order. If you buy something and then return it, there is more costs to handle the return.
All returns must be thoroughly inspected when received back at the warehouse to ensure they are in 100% resalable condition. New packaging materials usually need to be utilized because it is typically only designed to be used two times (initial use and possible return shipment). Time and materials involved inspecting, repackaging and restocking are not insignificant. The bottom line is restocking fees help keep prices low for you!
For this reason we do not accept returns on any used or previously installed products. We will not sell used products to our customers who are expecting brand new Garagistic parts. At times we may have to charge a higher restocking fee on a return if the parts are damaged during the return shipping. The Garagistic E46 LTW front strut brace also referred to as the front strut bar or the front stress brace, is designed to be a simple, elegant, and bespoke piece in your engine bay to increase structural rigidity and enhance handling. Drawing design inspirations from the E36 LTW strut bar, we came up with the LTW strut bar the E46 never got from the factory. This simple but superior design was thought out in order to maximize reinforcement to the strut towers by linking them in unison without any "hinged" features to get the most chassis rigidity. Doing so in order to give the driver the ultimate steering feel and handling capabilities in order to offer better turn-in and more accurate steering input.
We have carefully crafted the strut brace through countless revisions to ensure that it works for all E46 models with factory engine setups, from a stock suspension street cruiser build all the way to a purpose-built track car with coilover. We 3D machine the billet ends for a smooth shape and finish to match the timeless design of the E46 while adding strength and reinforcement to the strut towers. Once installed, the bar can be removed without removing the ends, which is an important feature when doing maintenance or working on the engine. Due to the slotted holes on the strut tower, E46s with aftermarket camber plates, removing the strut brace ends can cause the front-end camber alignment to deviate as it allows the strut mount studs to move within the slot. With our strut brace, you can easily remove the bar to do engine maintenance without the worry of throwing off your camber settings.
Well, it does so by not allowing chassis flex at the front strut towers and ensuring suspension energy is contained within the springs and shocks. This ensures that your suspension performs as intended and allows for noticeable improvements in cornering for your E46, especially under hard use. Just like the E30 and E36, the use of an E46 strut bar in the front is much more dramatic of an impact than if used in the rear. If both are used, chassis longevity will be noticed along with increased handling under track or hard use conditions.
