The stock E30, E21, E28, E32, and E34 rear subframes do not allow you to align the rear wheels. Alignment is a critical point in spec E30 as well as any track, autocross, or spiritedly driven car. Adjusting your camber and toe is also a must when lowering your car. It's a night and day difference. When an E30, for example, is lowered, the car has a lot of negative camber (up to 6 degrees!). Although this is wanted by some, it can be excessive. These brackets are welded to the rear subframe on the rear control arm mounting points. You slot the original hole and have these professionally welded in place. Then using either the Garagistic eccentrics or the OEM eccentric BMW hardware the rear of your BMW can be properly aligned! Each "kit" includes 8 brackets with hardware. This is enough to do BOTH camber AND toe adjustment (This includes 8 weld on brackets and 4 bolt assemblies with eccentrics, you will require eccentric hardware for proper adjustment). The subframe has 4 mounting points for the rear trailing arm, 2 per side. The camber is adjusted using the inner mounts (closest to diff), and toe is adjusted with the outer mounts (closest to the wheels). The camber brackets (inner tabs) should be welded with the slots going up and down. The toe bracket (outer tabs) slots should be horizontal (front to back).
