These HD rubber motor and transmission mounts are meant for that OEM feel with zero sacrifice. HD= Heavy duty. The are basically really really beefy OEM mounts that came off other BMWs. Trans are E21 320i auto trans mounts (23711175424), Motor mounts are from a euro E24 635csi motor mounts (11811132322). These are direct bolt up. Only two things need to be done, grind one of the protrusions off of the motor mounts (your E30 does not require them) and drill the holes in your transmission brace a tiny bit bigger (the hardware on these mounts is physically bigger).
If you would like us to grind off the motor mounts tab just let us know by leaving a note on checkout and we will do so free of charge. That means you want a subtle upgrade for your street car without to much of a compromise in comfort. Well these are it. Not as stiff as our delrin or even our 80a series, these are the perfect trade off. These will hold the engine and transmission with less movement under braking or cornering but will not transfer that much noise into the cabin either! These are not a bolt though design which means no additional noise inside the car.Great for E30s that are spiritedly driven street cars. Good for autox use as well!
Compatible with M20 powered E30s (will NOT fit the IX): 323, 325e,325i and 325IS. (Ideal setup for our E30 M30 swaps conversion too) We highly recommend reinforcing your subframe while you are in there. Another good idea is our transmission bushing cups. Shown in the pictures, they are machined from 6061 aluminum! These are meant to be used with E21 transmission bushings (which would be included, the green mounts in the pictures).You can add both options list for additional savings.
