Our Garagistic late-model selector joints are produced in-house from billet aluminum to replace OEM part number 25117580281. That's the selector joint found in later model E36 (from prod. date 10/94), E34, E39, E46, E60, Z4, and even G80 cars. We have taken the old BMW selector joint design and brought it up to date by swapping out the Delrin bushing for a precision sealed bearing assembly. By utilizing our new DSSR hardware that replaces the traditional pins and clips, this new design will allow you to snug the DSSR down on the selector joint without any binding and further eliminates any remaining slop in the shifter assembly.

The "late model" shift selector joint (BMW PN# 25117580281) will install on OEM shifters, our supreme shifter, or chassis-mounted short shifters just like the factory unit did. The aging BMW transmissions are generally showing their age and this selector joint ( BMW PN# 25117580281) has a plastic bushing that can wear out and cause slop (sometimes the foam inside is gone too!). This selector joint is just one link in the system that can help tighten up your shifter feel and overall driving experience. Recommend changing these in the older BMW for maintenance.
Please Note: Factory OEM BMW selector rod pins may have slight variations in thickness and therefore some pins may have a tighter fit on our selector joints. This can be resolved with a quick cleaning (to remove grime and debris). In some cases, light sanding may be required. Our selector joints are a perfect fit for all of our DSSRs.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. International orders that are refused will incur a return shipping fee which will be deducted from the refund. All shipping costs are non-refundable.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
