The E46 Garagistic Knurled Aluminum Shift Knob provides a non-slip option for the performance driver who can't afford to miss his shift. Made in-house here in sunny Southern California, these knurled aluminum shift knobs offer a weighted throw for improved feel and control with unmatched quality. Our knobs are designed to attach without the use of set screw setups to hold them in place.

This is a direct replacement to OEM E46 knobs using our threaded adapter that allows you to install this shift knob like a factory knob clip setup. We took the time to develop our very own clip system that mimics the OEM BMW shift knob clip system. That means a clean-looking interior with no set-screws or nightmarish press fits.

The knurled shift knob paired with our Supreme Short Shifter and you got an easy to install and completely modular setup – meaning you can easily switch between different shifter rod heights and different shift knob types (something other short shifters do not have) and even allows the use of different length shifters and shift knobs from our solid mount family. Not to mention you can adjust the throw to your liking. The "longest" setting simulates what the common OEM+ upgrade z3 shifter would feel like. The throw becomes shorter and shorter as you move lower pivot down. Our Supreme Short Shifter does not eliminate the OEM shifter carrier unlike our Solid Shifter, so you can use this shifter with OEM rubber engine and transmission bushings! We are constantly making improvements on our parts and the shifter now has a fully threaded center rod and ball for maximum adjustability and compatibility. This is the ultimate short shifter for your street-driven E46 or track animal.

Please note: Because this shifter rod is straight (not bent like most BMW OEM shifters), many applications may require a custom length DSSR. If you are unsure what length you will need, reach out to us at support@garagistic.com and we will help you figure that out! We have over 80 configurations of DSSR's, so it is crucial to include the last 7 of your VIN for us to reference and assist us in determining which DSSR is appropriate for your application.

Will this shifter fit my E46?

• Fits all Manual E46 BMW chassis (does not fit on SMG models)
• Please Note: Some OEM BMW shifter rods have a very slight tilt, therefore some shifters will also have a slight tilt once installed.
